We had a fantastic dining experience at Ortica on Sunday, May 25. The 100% plant-based menu is so enticing that choosing each course was challenging. We were not disappointed with our choices: every dish, from our starters to our desert and our coffee, was as delicious as it looked! IMHO, Ortica offers the best Italian vegan food in Greater Manchester and rivals London establishments. Of course, eating out isn’t just about food: Ortica offers a chic but cozy family atmosphere which we really enjoyed. It complimented the food perfectly! Congratulations and thank you to the family who run this jewel of a place. We highly recommend it, whether you are vegan or not, and can’t wait to return.

An absolute gem 2 mins walk from Urmston Railway station, well worth a trip. Has a little shop selling genuine Italian products such as Beers and Pasta at reasonable prices.. Urmston town centre is a thriving area with lots of shops and restaurants, good charity shops too! The restaurant is so great, so much choice and great to know I can choose any item, making it so hard to choose! I have to go back and try the other items. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and there is a great atmosphere. The food was so tasty and beautifully presented. I had a pea and butternut squash pasta (Calamarate piselli) and the sour cherry sorbet. Both so tasty.

You *need* to visit Ortica! Their food is absolutely sublime; incredible authentic Italian food and an entirely plant-based menu! A vegan tiramisu!!!! This restaurant is also ideal for anyone who isn’t vegan. The food is delicious, with bold flavours and dishes that meat eaters will be familiar with! I promise you that you will not be disappointed. To top it all off, the staff are so lovely. They are passionate about their business and knowledgeable about Italian cuisine. We were able to buy an additional tiramisu to take home with us, and they packaged up our leftovers too. They also sell Italian pastas, sauces and drinks to take home, at very reasonable prices. Please, don’t sleep on it. Book Ortica for your next meal out, it’s the perfect spot for a romantic meal, a family get together, or a solo treat! Just perfect, 10/10 Note: there’s very little parking available outside due to it being a main road so we parked in the nearby Sainsburys covered parking which is free for 2 hours for customers - so just pop in and buy something before you leave. It’s an easy, well-lit walk from the car park round to the restaurant.

It's the most amazing family run vegan restaurant. We have eaten here twice now. It was absolutely amazing the second time around. The food, the cocktails, the service, the products you can buy. Honestly, even if you aren't vegan, you need to try this place. We took the in-laws this time, and they said it was delicious. They never missed any meat and would eat here again. When you go, order the watermelon cocktail. It's the best. We managed to park on the opposite side, just a little further up. And lastly, order the Pistacchio ice cream

I'm Not Vegan Myself, but I like yo try the different restaurants that Urmston has to offer. Prior to attending Ortica, I wasn't really looking forward to my food, As I'm not vegan, I've never had any food like this before. I had a big shock as the food was divine. My foccatia was gorgeous lovely and light/Airy. My Main the Broccoli orecciette was nicer than any Italian I've ever been to. Definitely coming back. 10/10 For Me
